PXO has won a contract with Equinor to supply Operations Documentation and Training Material for the Bacalhau field offshore Brasil

PXO AS is proud to announce to have won a contract with Equinor for the supply of Operations Documentation and Training Material for operations of the Bacalhau field offshore Brazil, which is under development. The work will commence immediately and extend through 2025.

The Bacalhau field sits at a water depth of above 2,000m and consists of an FPSO and a tie-back subsea production systems with a total of 19 wells. The field is operated by Equinor with ExxonMobil, Petrogal Brasil and Pré-sal Petróleo SA (PPSA) as license partners. The investment is expected to be approximately 8 billion USD.

PXO AS will be supported by the Stavanger based company Visco AS for development of training animations.
