Our history

 

PXO was established in 2007 by local enthusiasts with comprehensive field experience from production facilities offshore and onshore. An urge for improving the transition from the project phase to the operations phase was identified as operations issues historically tended to be underestimated in the project phase and during preparations for the operations phase. Moreover, there were few suppliers of operational services in the marketplace to support operations organizations in this context.

Over the years, PXO has established itself as a significant supplier of operations services - primarily to the petroleum industry, but lately also to other industry segments landbased industries, renewables/windmills and shipping.

​

PXO resides in modern office premises at Forus outside Stavanger with around 40 employees having comprehensive background and experience from many field operating companies and operating sites.

PXO aims to be the preferred support arm for operating companies as regards preparation, execution and improvement towards more efficient and safe operations built on technical understanding, integrated work processes and organizational facilitation.

Our services

 

PXO provides services for all main phases of projects from concept studies and engineering through installation and commissioning to operations and maintenance. The aim is to contribute to assurance of operationally critical matters in all project phases, and as early as possible, so that commissioning and later operations will meet plans and end expectations for the following activities:
